UPSC RECRUITMENT FOR CDS EXAM 2020 APPLY ONLINE

Education Eligibility: – Educational qualifications for different sections of the Indian defence force are as follows:

(i) For I.M.A. and Officers? Training ? Degree of a recognized University or equivalent.

(ii) For INA?Degree in Engineering from a recognized University/Institution.

(iii) For AFA?Degree of a recognized University (with Physics and Mathematics at 10+2 level) or Bachelor of Engineering.

Age: – Applicant?age should be between?20 to 25 years

Selection Process: – Written examination and Interview.

Physical Standards

Height

Minimum Acceptable Height (Male):157.5 cms. (157 cms forNavy and 162.5 cms for Air Force)

Minimum Acceptable Height (Female): 152 cms

Exemption in Minimum Acceptable Height: 5 cms is given to Gorkhas and individuals belonging to hills of North-Eastern region of India, Garhwali and Kumaon. Candidates from Lakshadweep enjoy an exemption of 2 cms.

Chest

Chest should be well developed. The minimum range of expansion after full inhalation should be 5 cms.

Medical

All candidates will be examined by the Board of Medical Officers. Candidates should be physical fit in all respects as highlighted in the full advertisement of the UPSC attached below.
